Our Newcastle Team

I'm very proud to announce my entire team under the "Our Newcastle" banner in Wallsend this morning.

The Our Newcastle banner is about taking back our city and embracing the values that good local government should espouse; honesty, integrity, transparency, and a commitment to working with the community in a respectful manner to take our city forward.

I believe each of our candidates lives and breathes these values and, if elected, will deliver for our city.

The Ward candidates are as follows:

Ward 1

1. Dr Ross Kerridge – Also running as Lord Mayor candidate

2. Peter Gittins – Former international Head of School and CEO

3. Emily Coker – Small business/retailer owner and operator

Ward 2

1. Leisha Parkinson – Marketing professional and former small business owner

2. Kimberly Besser – Higher education administrator

3. John Beach – Former long-time public-school principal

Ward 3

1. Mark Brooker – Owner and publisher of “The Local” and a community advocate

2. Dr Michelle Brown – Postdoctoral Researcher at HMRI and co-admin of the “Save our Oval’s” Facebook Group

3. Dr Alyssa Lochrin – Clinical researcher at HMRI

Ward 4

1. Tahlia Kelso – Library manager

2. Julie Davies – Retired mental health nurse

3. Wayne Rogers – Entertainer, local business operator and head of Wallsend Town Business Association
